01The honest part first
New here? Start at the pillar page for the full picture.
Not every v0 project exports cleanly. Pages and client-side front-end deploy as they are. Server routes, database wiring and auth do not: a static host does not run them. Marketing sites, landing pages and portfolio projects usually move wholesale. Apps that leaned on those server features need trimming or a different host, and it is better you know that before you export.
02The move
Export the project from v0 and commit it to your LoomWeb repository. A coding agent does the trimming well: keep the pages, cut or replace the server features (contact forms swap to the hosted endpoint), run a build if the project needs one, and push. Deploy to the preview address, click through every page, and only then point the domain.
03What moves and what stays
Moves
Pages, styling, client-side logic. The part visitors see.
Needs trimming
Build steps: run the build, commit the output.
Stays behind
Server routes, database wiring, auth. Application features need an application host.
Replaced
Contact forms swap to the hosted endpoint that ships with your site.
04What owning it changes
Outside the sandbox the site answers to you: your repository, your domain, deploys on your push, hosting billed flat in Australia. You can edit with any agent, keep the site for years, and no regeneration or sandbox limit can reach it. That ownership is the actual product; the hosting is where it lives.
05Frequently Asked Questions
Will it look the same after export?
The pages render the same once any missing dependencies are trimmed. Deploy to the preview address and click through before touching DNS, and fix what you find there.
Can I keep iterating in v0 afterwards?
If v0 pushes to the same repository, yes. Most people hand the repository to a general agent once it exists, but the host does not care which tool edits it.
Does LoomWeb run Next.js server features?
No. Static hosting serves rendered pages. Ask your agent to export the static routes; that covers most v0 projects.
