01The one thing to understand

New here? Start at the pillar page for the full picture.

ChatGPT writes files. It does not host them, and the conversation is not a home for them. The moment you want the site to exist for other people, the files need to be somewhere a web server can reach: a repository you own.

02From chat to repository

  1. Emit the files

Ask ChatGPT to write every file in full, not snippets.

  2. Create a repository

On GitHub, in your account, private by default.

  3. Add the files

Web upload, or hand it to a coding agent with GitHub access.

  4. Connect and deploy

Connect the repository at signup. The site goes live on HTTPS.

03From chat to repository

04From chat to repository

Ask ChatGPT to emit every file in full rather than snippets. Create a repository on GitHub and add the files, either through the web upload or by handing the job to a coding agent that has GitHub access. Then connect the repository: the publishing flow provisions the hosting and issues the certificate, and the site goes live on your loomweb.co address. Updates after that are new pushes.

05What maintenance looks like afterwards

There is none in the WordPress sense. The files ChatGPT wrote get served as they are; nothing about them expires or needs patching. Changes happen when you ask for a change, a new set of files lands, and you push. If a change comes out worse, deployment history puts the previous version back and you iterate.

06Frequently Asked Questions

ChatGPT gave me one big HTML file. Is that a problem?

Not at all. One file or fifty, the deploy is identical from the host side.

Can ChatGPT itself push to GitHub?

Not from the chat interface. Any coding agent with GitHub access can do it, which is what the agent publishing flow is for.

It rewrote a page and made it worse. Now what?

Roll back to the previous deployment and ask again with better instructions. Versioned deploys mean a bad rewrite costs minutes, not the page.

Is my code private?

The repository sits in your GitHub account as a private repo. We read it to build your site and that is the extent of the relationship.

Build it with your AI. Host it here.

Deploys on every push, from Australia, with nothing to maintain.
